Seriously…We Take Your Privacy Seriously

At Martina Jay, we take your data and your privacy very seriously and treat all of your information with utmost care. We do not sell, rent or trade your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We are far too busy doing better things than spending time and energy on these sorts of dishonest things. 😉 This privacy policy will let you know what we do and don’t do with your data so that you feel safe and valued here at

Visitors to Our Website

We may use a third-party service called Google Analytics to monitor our website traffic. This collects data and tells us standard information such as how readers are finding our website, how long they spend on our website and what pages and posts they view. All information is anonymous and MartinaJay and Google have no way of knowing who you are. This simply helps us to see what posts are popular, what our readers are enjoying most from our website so that we can continue to create content that you’ll enjoy!

If we, for some reason, decide that we want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be honest about this and let you know in advance when you opt-in for something. We will let you know if we are collecting personal information and why we are collecting it. You will always have the option of not supplying us with information you don’t want us to have.

Mailing List, Opt-Ins & Online Contact Form

If you choose to sign up to our mailing list, newsletter or download a free resource, we collect minimal information. This includes your name (which you provide to us) and your email address (which you also provide to us). We only use this information for the purpose that you intended it to be used for. We will contact you about what you have asked us about or to send you our newsletter/updates or the downloadable resource. We do not send spam mail. We also don’t sell, rent or trade our email lists with other businesses or organisations and we never will. You can unsubscribe at any time – we will always include an ‘unsubscribe’ option with each of our emails. (Obviously, we hope you don’t want to click it…but it’s there should you need it!)

We do use a third-party email provider called ConvertKit to send our newsletters, downloadable resources and updates. This service collects standard statistics about email opening and what links are clicked. This helps us to see how many people are actually reading our newsletters and content so we can make sure that what we send out is actually useful for our readers. If it’s not, then we’ll try to change that! For more information on Convert Kit’s privacy policy, please click here.

Some of our opt-in forms use reCAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). All this means is that it tries to make sure that the person signing up (you!) is in fact a human and not an automated bot (robot). It basically protects our website from fraud. If it finds fake users (bots), they will be blocked. So, unless you’re a bot, you’re safe! To find out more details of reCATCHA, click here.

Links and Embedded Content

If you choose to click any links to an external website (outside of, then you are no longer covered by this privacy policy. You would need to check that website’s privacy policy to get their privacy policy details. With that said, we would never knowingly include harmful links. We only include links to pages that we recommend or have used for research purposes, information or references.

Articles on our website may include embedded content such as videos or images. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. This means these websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking or monitor your interaction with that embedded content. This is outside of Martina Jay and does not provide us any of your details.

Access to Your Personal Information

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, amend or delete any of your personal data that we hold. For requests regarding this, simply send us an email at contact{at} and let us know what you would like us to do with your data. We will be happy to help you feel safe and respected. (This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.)

Changes to This Privacy Notice

We keep our privacy policy updated anytime we make any changes to how we handle your data. This privacy policy was last updated on August 26, 2023.
